Privacy and safety

Your records belong to you.

Here is what Selihc Health keeps, who can see it, and how it keeps you safe.

Right now: a prototype, for sample data only

Selihc Health is in early testing. Please use sample data, not your real health information. Before it accepts real records, it will move to HIPAA-eligible infrastructure, with business associate agreements in place.

Privacy

What we keep
What you enter: symptoms, measurements, flares, photos, medicines, lab results, family history, visit plans and summaries.
Your email address, to sign you in, and your birth year and time zone, to confirm you are an adult and show times correctly.
Technical logs that never contain your health details.
Who can see it
You, when you are signed in. A clinician sees your summary only if you send them a link or give them the PDF.
We do not sell your records, share them with advertisers, or use them for marketing.
Share links
Nothing is shared until you review a summary and create a link. Links expire after 14 days, and you can turn one off sooner.
Every time a link is opened, the date and time show up in your log.
Photos
Photos are copied into a new image when you upload them. Location data and other hidden details from your camera are left out. Photos are stored privately and shown only through short-lived links.
Email
Sign-in and reminder emails never contain health details. They say only that a link or a reminder is waiting.
AI drafts
If you ask for an "In my words" draft, the labels and notes from your entries are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which writes the draft. Nothing is sent unless you ask, and no other AI company receives your records.
No tracking where you enter health information
No advertising or tracking scripts run on the pages where you record or read your health information.
Staying signed in, and leaving
You are signed out after 30 minutes without activity.
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Your records, photos, summaries and share links are deleted with it.

The full privacy policy and terms of use are drafts under legal review.

Safety

  • It does not diagnose. Selihc Health organizes your records for a clinician to review. Only a clinician can diagnose a condition.
  • It is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.
  • The stand test needs a helper. A second person stays with you, stop guidance is on screen the whole time, and one tap ends the test.
  • Flare screens show emergency guidance. Call 911 for trouble breathing, throat swelling or fainting. Use your emergency medicine as prescribed.
  • It never tells you to change your treatment. The app never tells you to stop or change medicines, fluids or salt. Talk with your clinician about any change.
